Onramp is about Web3 tools for the world's “under-entrepreneured.”

We envision a future in which establishing a company is as easy as a few clicks. A world where the intricacies of legal structures do not impede creativity and entrepreneurship, but instead facilitate them, allowing the “under-entrepreneured” to become active economic agents in the new economy, the same way FinTech empowers the under-banked.

Blockchains as the Enabling Tech: From DVD.com to Netflix

We believe blockchains are the enabling technology for this digital transformation of entrepreneurship. Using blockchains as the ledger of truth and the rails for transfer of value enables Onramp to engineer the next vehicle for human ingenuity, and will let anybody entrepreneur from anywhere by simply connecting their wallet.

Our Journey

2018: Breakpoint in Prague

The concept originated during conversations between Solana developers at the annual Solana community conference (Breakpoint). The “Etherprise” concept, originally called as such and previously published on LinkedIn, inspired the project.

2019: Community Momentum

Web3 entrepreneurs and investors publicly advocated for blockchain-based company formation, providing validation for the mission.

2020: Launch

The early project had 2 goals in mind: compress the time and cost of forming a new legal entity whilst maintaining legal validity. Master LLCs were formed in Delaware (July 10) and Wyoming (August 11). The world's first onchain LLCs were launched. Initial research revealed that legal engineering required more effort than smart contract development, and only certain jurisdictions permitted instant entity formation.

2021: Decentralization

The project transitioned to community governance. A governance token was announced and a launch pool raised over $1.1 million by March 2022.

2022: Platform Expansion

Development accelerated with Safe wallet integration, document signing plugin, NFT support added to the creation workflow, Solana mainnet expansion, smart contract refactoring, and multi-member Series LLC functionality using mirror tokens for ownership representation.

2023: New Jurisdictions and Growth

Launched governance console redesign, improved dashboard navigation, new entity creation workflow, introduced the world's first onchain Swiss Association, and began strategic planning to establish the platform as a recognized Web3 entity formation leader.
